Mossic Woman Dies in Nursing Home
On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 an 86 year old woman died in a nursing home. While trying to get out of bed, she became engangled in the bedrails and died of asphyxiation, according to the coroner.
Though the accident appears to be accidental, it will still be investigated.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health, along with Taylor police, investigated the details regarding Mrs. Galletti's death at Taylor Nursing & Rebahilitation Center.
As of the July 24, 2007 review, the nursing home had a clean record, according to a spokesman from the Department of Health.
